Del Taco’s Shredded Pork Carnitas are Back – Get Them While You Can!
It’s been a while, but Del Taco have finally listened to the demands and brought back the beloved shredded pork Carnitas! However, the one setback is that this is only for a limited period, meaning you will want to get as much Carnitas as you can before they are gone again!
The good news is that the Carnitas is back in a variety of dishes from the Del Taco menu, so there’s plenty of different ways to taste that succulent pulled pork goodness while it’s available. The consensus among Del Taco customers is that the Carntias was an amazing dish that is sorely missed, so it is certainly nice to see the company listening to the demand for its return.
Del Taco are going out all this time around, with five different Carnitas options currently available, including two entirely new dishes, and you can even enjoy 2 for $5 Carnitas Combo Burritos to save a few bucks!

Carnitas Street Taco Plato
What’s better than one Carnitas Taco? Two of Carnitas Tacos of course! This is one of the new options currently found on the menu, consisting of two tacos filled with that delicious shredded pork Carnitas.
Each one is then topped with dice onions, cilantro, hand-sliced avocado, tang green sauce, and served with fresca lime rice, chips, slow-cooked beans, and salsa.
Carnitas Wet Burrito Plato
Another new option, this one consisting of two mouth-watering Carnitas Combo Burritos. They are topped with cheddar cheese, hand-sliced avocado, and a tangy green sauce, served with fresca lime rice, slow-cooked beans, chips and salsa.

Two Carnitas Burritos, tender shredded pork, slow-cooked beans, cheddar cheese, tangy green sauce, all of which is served a warm flour tortilla. One of the classic Carnitas meals, it’s great to see one of the best burritos around back for a short time!
Epic Carnitas Burrito
This huge burrito is served in a much larger tortilla, featuring the shredded pork Carntias, cheddar cheese, fresca lime rice, seasoned black beans, handmade pico del gallo salsa and tangy chipotle sauce.

Shredded pork Carnitas and fries? Sign us up! Both the fries and pork combine wonderfully, made better by a topping of cheddar cheese, savoury secret sauce, cilantro, and diced onions.
Don’t Forget the Del Taco New Dessert…
While not a Cartinas-inspired dish (which is probably for the best!) the new Del Taco Dessert is certainly worth trying out if your stopping by to grab a taco or burrito!
